Final bow for Cork

Sat 02 May, 11:58 AM

Watford midfielder Jack Cork is set to play his final game for the club as Brendan Rodgers welcomes Derby to Vicarage Road.

Cork will complete a highly successful loan spell from Chelsea during which he has made 20 appearances for the club.

His regular partner in the centre of midfield - Ross Jenkins - is set to miss out however after he dislocated his shoulder in the 3-2 win at Coventry last weekend. That could see Danny Rose come in as Don Cowie remains out after picking up a thigh injury at the beginning of April.

Rodgers changed to 4-4-2 at the Ricoh Arena and saw strikers Tamas Priskin and Grzegorz Rasiak both score so could stick with it.

Rasiak is also playing the final game of his season-long loan from Southampton but the Hornets are hopeful of concluding a permanent deal with the relegated Saints.

Goalkeeper Mart Poom (shoulder) and midfielder Gareth Williams (knee) continue their lengthy stays on the sidelines with Williams set to be released next month after an injury-ravaged two years at Vicarage Road during which he has started just twice.
