Sunderland are still without £9million record signing Craig Gordon for their home Barclays Premier League game against Everton.
The Scotland goalkeeper has a knee injury which could rule him out of the remainder of the season.
Nyron Nosworthy (hamstring) will not play again this season while Northern Ireland defender George McCartney has a calf injury as the Black Cats look to bounce back from last weekend's shattering 3-0 Barclays Premier League loss at bottom club West Brom.

I notice the pair of you clowns never answered my question - that's what i've come to expect from you lot. As for my 'bet', what bet you clowns? It was a prediction; big deal, i was wrong. Unlike you clowns, i come on here for the banter, and i certainly do not want safc to be relegated - yes, i like to see them struggle but as for the way you wish relegation on us, well that is just bitter and very, very sad!
Sunderland skint? don't be stupid, ellis short is as rich as chelsea's owner. and at least he's investing in the club. as for gordon, i don't think we've had a first choice keeper miss so much of the season since tony coton! at least fulop is better than lionel perez. Mike Ashley for treasurer!
talking of skint have u lost that bet about nufc being above sunderland after u play boro.u'll be relegated by then and i think the only club thats skint is the sad geordies up the road
He's not really injured you know folks, it's all a ruse!!
Is it true that if this clown plays one more game safc will have to shell out a few quid to whoever the heck it was they bought it from? And is it also true that safc are so skint that they can't afford to pay this said few quid; as a cosequence, he will not play again for them and will be moved on in the summer.
