Striker Andy Booth ended his career on a high with a goal as Huddersfield ended the campaign with a 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient.
Orient enjoyed a major fourth-minute escape when centre-back Jordan Spence headed the ball past his own goalkeeper Jamie Jones but it trickled past the post.
But Town did go ahead after 25 minutes when Orient's centre-backs allowed Booth to outrace them and beat Jones to the loose ball which he scrambled in from wide of goal.
Orient were indebted to Jones when he pushed away a shot from Town midfielder Tom Clarke for a corner via a post.
But Orient equalised when midfielder Jimmy Smith escaped on the left and with a low cross laid on the chance for striker Dean Morgan to side-foot the ball home after 65 minutes.
