Triple doubt for Tykes decider

Sat 02 May, 11:53 AM

Barnsley trio Stephen Foster, Dennis Souza and Adam Hammill are all doubtful for the Tykes' last match at Plymouth.

Foster has missed the last two games through illness and after losing half a stone is struggling to recover full fitness, while Souza has not trained due to a groin injury and could also miss out at Home Park, where Barnsley must earn a point to avoid relegation.

Manager Simon Davey will be without two key defenders if both Foster and Souza fail to make it. Winger Hammill, on loan from Liverpool, is nursing an ankle injury.

Davey must decide whether to retain Luke Steele in goal or recall German Heinz Muller, while on-loan Coventry striker Michael Mifsud will be hoping to return to the starting line-up.
