New Inter coach eyes Blues trio

Jose Mourinho has been named Inter Milan's new coach - and is expected to raid Chelsea for Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Ricardo Carvalho.The Italian champions have handed the former Stamford Bridge boss a three-year contract - and also announced that he will be assisted by Giuseppe Baresi at the San Siro.

The move had been long anticipated and comes after former coach Roberto Mancini was sacked last week.

Mourinho will be unveiled on Tuesday at a press conference and a statement on Inter's website confirmed: "Internazionale announce the arrival of Jose Mourinho.

"The Portuguese coach has signed a three-year contract and will work alongside Rui Farias, Silvino and Andrei Villas Boas.

"The assistant coach will be Giuseppe Baresi.''

It continued: "Thanking Roberto Mancini and his staff for the success

obtained in four seasons as the leader of the team, all of Internazionale has the great pleasure to welcome Jose Mourinho and his coaches.''

  1. If i were Jose, I wouldn't bother myself striving for the signatures of the Chelsea trio. This would have added credits to my integrity as someone who doesn't react out of emotion.

  3. Most of the things people are saying are in bad faith. Joe Mourinho was a good Coach at Chelsea and he did well. It is good to give honour to whom it is due at least at a particular time. A lot of politics of personality but we refuse to face the fact on ground. I don't envy Man United but look at the pace and the determination of Chelsea brought about by Joe Mourinho. He has instilled that determintaion and discipline in Chelsea and that is what we should cherish.
