Swindon assistant boss David Byrne has highlighted the positions of full-back and right midfield as key areas to strengthen in the summer.Byrne insists himself and boss Maurice Malpas have been working non-stop in their bid to land their summer transfer targets as they look to bolster their squad for next season.

He told the Swindon Advertiser: "The phone has not stopped ringing for me and Maurice since the end of the season.

"It's no secret we are looking for a couple of full-backs because if anything happens to Jack Smith and Jamie Vincent we are struggling.

"(Jon-Paul) JP McGovern is probably our only fit, recognised right midfielder so that's another area we need to look at. And if we're allowed to, possibly another midfielder or striker."
