Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has taken striker Barry Corr on trial as he bids to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The 6ft 3ins Corr, who scored twice for Swindon at Dean Court in December 2007, is a free agent.
"He's had shoulder problems and I think he's had that sorted out now so we're due to have a look at him in pre-season and assess how fit he is," Howe told the Bournemouth Echo.
"He's a mobile targetman which is very, very rare. When he's fit and playing he'll be better than this level."
Meanwhile, the takeover saga surrounding the club could finally be nearing a conclusion after Paul Baker revealed that a second offer to buy the Cherries was on the table.
