Quakers coy over Windass appointment

Tue 02 Jun, 01:08 PM

Darlington have refused to confirm or deny they have appointed Dean Windass as assistant manager.

The 40-year-old was released by Hull on Tuesday and reports in the media revealed he had agreed to become Colin Todd's number two, whilst also having the option of extending his playing career.

But the League Two club, currently in administration, could not confirm Windass' arrival on Tuesday afternoon.
