Aberdeen have agreed a deal to sign Mark Kerr after the midfielder reached the end of his contract at Dundee United.Kerr will sign a two-year contract next week providing he passes a medical.

The 26-year-old is currently on holiday but has committed to joining the Dons after five years with United.

He will add experience to Jimmy Calderwood's side after the Dons let several senior players leave at the end of last season.

Kerr began his career at Falkirk before moving to United in 2003.
