Reading defender Michael Duberry insists they have banished the memories of last season and are focused on the Championship season ahead.The Royals return to pre-season training on Thursday in preparation for their opening game of the season against Nottingham Forest on August 10.

And Duberry told the club's official website: "We know we're not in the Premier League anymore and we have to deal with that.

"We can't let the disappointment linger for too long, we just have to prove that we're good enough to go straight back up.

"We can't keep going over what happened in the past - we have to look forward."
