New Leicester signing Lloyd Dyer has fired a parting shot at former club Milton Keynes Dons, claiming the club did not do enough to keep him.Winger Dyer signed for League One rivals Leicester on a three-year deal on Tuesday, and the 25-year-old claims managerless Dons could have tried harder in their bid to keep him at the club.
"I had talks with MK Dons but they only offered me a one-year contract - Leicester offered me three," he told the Milton Keynes Citizen.
"The Dons are a great club with great fans and there are some lovely people there. But it didn't seem like they tried hard enough to keep me there and when a club like Leicester comes along you have to have a look.
"Leicester is a Premier League club and I couldn't turn it down."
