Notts County defender Stephen Hunt is expected to discover the severity of his troublesome pelvic injury later this week.The 23-year-old is set to visit a specialist in Bolton on Thursday after being plagued by the problem for the last few months.

"Stephen picked up a groin/stomach injury last season, an injury he was playing with for a while," confirmed County's physio Paul Smith.

"He has come back into pre-season still a little bit sore, so we're sending him to see a specialist up in Bolton this week.

"Right now there's no indication of how long it will be until he is in full training, but he should have a clearer idea by the end of the week," he added on the club's official website.
