Swindon Town may have missed out on released Manchester United youngster Ritchie Jones, who is reportedly set to join Hearts.The Robins are still waiting on a final decision from the player's agent but reports suggest the midfielder had a medical at the Scottish Premier League outfit on Tuesday.

Swindon's chief executive Nick Watkins believes they may have lost their target, and told the Advertiser: "The player's agent seems to have gone to ground so we are still waiting to hear from him.

"We have heard he is having a medical in Scotland, though, so the manager and the chairman both believe he has slipped away."
