Wed 02 Jul, 05:45 PM

Premier League new boys Hull have completed the signing of former Derby striker Craig Fagan on a three-year contract. The 25-year-old - who has returned for a second spell with the club which he left in 2007 - has moved to the KC Stadium in a £750,000 deal.

Frontman Fagan spent the final part of last season on loan with the Tigers and helped guide them to the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Former boss Paul Jewell told Derby's website: "Craig leaves with our best wishes and thanks for the hard work he put in at Derby.

"I don't think it's any secret that Craig wanted to make his deal permanent and I believe it's a deal that benefits all parties involved - both clubs and the player."

  1. I fear for the Tigers next season if this is the standard of player we are signing. He can't cut the mustard in the Championship let alone Premier League level unfortunately.
I really hope he proves me wrong but he is also a defensive liability and gives away silly free kicks in vulnerable positions. I wish him luck and I am sure Derby are delighted to get rid of a player they would have dumped for nothing on another club. Come on City lets get some quality in the side.
