Gillingham have been joined by two trialists as manager Mark Stimson tries to shape his squad for next season in League Two.The Gills boss has given much-travelled striker Drewe Broughton and young defender Moses Swaibu the chance to impress at Priestfield.
Broughton, 29, has played for 15 different clubs in his career and was released by MK Dons at the end of last season, while 19-year-old Swaibu was released by Crystal Palace with his only first-team experience coming in a loan spell at Weymouth.
Meanwhile, Stimson is expecting an answer from his number one transfer target this week.
The unnamed striker is mulling over an offer to join the Gills and Stimson told the club's official website: "The main thing is we haven't had any bad news from him and I think he is looking to make a decision by the end of the week.
"I've been watching Teletext and Sky Sports News and his name's not come up at all so hopefully by the end of the week we might be able to announce something."
