Pippa Greene sidestepped a return to action in last week's Northumberland's Plate but we don't have long to wait for another chance to see him.

He holds an entry in the Saturday's Old Newton Cup at Haydock.

There have been a couple of deletions from the list since the last update - Rose Diamond and Gingham

The former won her maiden at Newmarket while Gingham unfortunately suffered an injury when losing her action at Brighton when sent of favourite.

Other entries this weekend include Sphere on Thursday at Haydock and Makaaseb, who could be out at Sandown on Saturday.

The former has had three runs for a handicap mark and is now pitched in against some older fillies with more experience.

But she should be competitive and Jamie Spencer is a positive booking for James Fanshawe.

Makaaseb was awful at Royal Ascot in first-time cheekpieces, dropping out of contention tamely having raced prominently under the stands' rail.

She now drops into a handicap but is in the last-chance saloon.
