Andreas Kotelnik is in no doubt at all that there will only be one winner when he defends his WBA junior-welterweight crown against Amir Khan on July 18 at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
The 31-year-old Ukrainian, who is currently based in Germany preparing for the bout, said: "I am the world champion, this is my job, I have been doing it for 24 years and I have no doubt I will win."
"I don"t want to say too much, I just want to say, "Hey, I"ll see you in the ring.
"I won my title in Cardiff against Gavin Rees - that was my target and now I have to defend my title over there".

anyone hear that fury can win the irish titles too?
And Tyson Fury IS the real deal in the Heavyweights. I just hope people don't keep trying to duck him as they have done so far. Good luck in beating John McDermott. I know you can do it. And give him Williams and Skelton next should he win.
Actually Mr Senti, my remark was boxing based...you've slagged off Khan and people of a different ethnic background for months and then, unexpectedly start backing Khan. All I've said in the last 2 weeks is Khan should fight Murray because I believe it would be a good fight and everyone (bar Mr Torrance) says 'What the hell!? What are you on? Murray doesn't deserve it'. Maybe he doesn't but it would still make a great fight. Khan will defeat Kotelnik easily and it wasn't Warren who chose Prescott. Khan's former Columbian trainer suggested Prescott to Warren. If Frank expected a tough test he'd never have let the fight take place. I expect Froch v Taylor II to be The Cobra's nect fight because no-one else wants to fight him. Except B.Hop (who I would avoid, as the fight would be boring). Come on Khan!!! And as for Hatton v Khan...Ricky would be a fool to take it on. He won't beat Khan, and if he does...so what? He doesn't better his record and it won't make him a P4P No.1. Ricky....please retire. Pacquiao won't fight you again, Mayweather Jr now knows your past your best and Marquez or Khan wouldn't improve your status. Besides, I think they'll beat you nowadays. Having lost to the best in your generation, give up gracefully. Anyone agree?
Khan will get knocked out properly this time..!!
Cotto wasn't had fed, he's fought a string of quality boxers. Khan hasn't got this title shot because his ranking. This fight is voluntary defence and Warren was able to offer enough Kothlink enough money for him to take the fight. We'll see how far he's come along under Roach once he's fought a decent opponent - not Osin Fagan (a bum) or Barrerra (his glory days are long gone).
Of course he has been hand fed, as most star boxers are. I think Warren felt he was ready to be let off the leash with the Prescott fight, but got it spectaculaly wrong. After that fight, it should have been Bredis who got the title shot, not Amir. If they boxed again, Amir wouldn't further his career if he won, but it would finish him if he lost, and I'm not sure if he could keep away from that left hook for the entire fight. Let's face it, his legs went after a jab, just before the knockdown. But I think he looks a better fighter now at lightwelter, with Roach, and he will win a world title. However, I will always doubt his chin.
Surely Khan needs to fight Prescott before he gets a shot at a belt. I imagine Presscot don't have a belt shot.
I will be behind Khan for the fight however do feel he is being hand fed his fighters
ye khans got more skill than kotelnik, but remember, hes never been down in his career and he beat that maidana fella who just knocked victor out. so he must be pretty gud, if hes not then whys he a world champ. Still think Khan will win if he boxes sensibly.
I agree with you Jack, you could also mention Naseem Hamed in that list.
it's no efoort at all neil
Hi Lance I honestly think it'll be a walk through for Khan in 5 or 6,saw Kotelnick against a game but small and limited Gavin Reese,he just hasn't got the size or skills to worry Khan. You're right,Warren is probably the best boxing business brain out there, his slip ups are rare (Prescott) and some how he usually manages to convince the public that the match ups are good, though they often prove to be poor . .thinking the bulk of Ricky and Joe's early fights here.
Warren is very astute neil. He has proved he is expert at taking the right match at the right time for his fighters, and I can't think this bout will be any different. Khan on points.
And xentertainer, why start all this up again, you said you wanted everyone to talk about boxing and nothing else and here you are starting the whole thing going again?
Lance, how do you think Khan will manage with Kotelnik. I think it'll be tough but he will edge it.
jack, how sad. you have gone through every single comment i have made and made the efoort to put the thumbs down on every one. get a life man.lol

Jack, if im correct you were the only one making racist remarks, I can find it if you want. And you dont reply to me because I dont talk to you, fool.
good stuff as usual exentertainer , yeah I noticed neilsenti seems to have lost the page a bit,he's been banging on about the frankly ridiculous BNP for months then all of a sudden he's a Khan lover? not long ago he was calling him a "@#$% b astard" I don't reply to his comments find him and sirstevejones quite vile.Anyway back to boxing,I'm going to the Tony Jeffrie's bill in Sunderland next week, watched him in training last week and was very impressed with how snappy his combinations were and don't think I've ever seen anyone take a medicine ball to the gut as hard as that. Then a week later David Dolan is on SKY (friend of a friend) so looking forward to cheering him on,then a week later it's the Khan bill so plenty to look forward to over the next 3 weeks eh.
Froch v Abraham is one I would definitely get excited about. 2 undefeated guys slugging it out to be the best. Froch would win by KO but if he went to Germany he would have to! Pavlik won't call out Hopkins because B.Hop said he won't fight Pavlik again. The only downside to fighting Woods is...what is there to gain? If it's Bute, it's a Title. If it's Abraham, it's a chance to establish himself as the best. If it's B.Hop he fights and defeats, it's about reputation building. If he fights Pascal again he'd have to move up in weight. Maybe a two weight title sounds nice but there's no credibility for such a risk. The next three fights have to be Abraham, Pavlik, Kessler. But if Froch really wants the chance to claim to be as good as Calzaghe, he'll need to have the balls to fight Kessler. If Kessler is available. I'm Froch's biggest fan on here but the lack of news on his next opponent is worrying. There are a few good fights around but nothing's being said. And I have said before...I DO like Khan. I haven't seen his recent fights lately so can't comment on how good he is BUT I think Thaxton has the kind of power that could floor Khan. But I want Khan to beat Kotelnik and then fight Junior Witter if not Hatton! HANG ON NEILSENTI? Are you defending Amir Khan? After all your BNP remarks? Amazing. Changed your politics? Has anyone else noticed that?
In all fairness, untill abraham fights someone half decent I couldnt care less about him.
