Three-times champion Andy Priaulx is looking forward to becoming the only driver to start every one of the first 100 World Touring Car Championship races in Porto this weekend.
It is off to Portugal for the next races on the WTCC calendar.
I don't know where the year has gone as these are rounds 13 and 14 of the 24-race calendar so we are now past halfway.
Mind you, I find it even more amazing that this weekend we shall be doing the 99th and 100th rounds of the championship since it was started in 2005. Now where did those races go?
I am quite excited as, with a bit of luck, on Sunday I should be the only driver to have started all 100 of those races.
I know Jordi Gene has also been on the grid for all the races, but in Marrakech he stalled and so his SEAT did not take the start.
While I like statistics, it is wins I want, not starts.
I have 10 wins so far in WTCC - the same as Augusto Farfus and Joerg Mueller - and how I want to make it 11!
I have great memories of Porto when we were there two years ago as I won race two after a great battle with Joerg.
Okay, this weekend our BMWs have lots of weight to carry in comparison to the other manufacturers' cars, but what the heck - I love street circuits and I am not going to let 40 kilos deter me from my main aim.
I can't wait to get racing again!
