Blackpool skipper Rob Edwards believes his side will enjoy working with new boss Ian Holloway.
The Seasiders began pre-season training on Wednesday and experienced Holloway's methods for the first time.
Defender Edwards said: "It was really interesting to hear what he wants and will be different to what we are used to."
Meanwhile, Holloway has allowed former QPR winger Richard Langley to train with his squad in a bid to help him find a new club following his release from Bristol City.
Blackpool defender Shaun Barker remains a key transfer target for Derby boss Brian Clough.
Clough told the Derby Telegraph: "We are still talking (to Blackpool) and, hopefully, we will be going back in the next few days."
