New Blackpool recruit Zesh Rehman says he is raring to go for the Seasiders after joining the club on loan from Championship rivals QPR.The Pakistan captain, 24, has arrived at Bloomfield Road initially on a six-month loan deal and is hoping to make the move permanent.

Rehman and striker Daniel Nardiello have joined Simon Grayson's side as part of the deal which saw Latvia defender Kaspars Gorkss move in the opposite direction to Loftus Road.

Defender Rehman told the club's official website: "I spoke to Simon Grayson about the club and what his plans are and I'm really impressed - I just can't wait to get started.

"I'm looking forward to helping the club in whatever way I can.

"I've played in a few different positions and, wherever the gaffer needs me to play, I'll be more than happy to do that, and then we'll assess it after the six months and take it from there."
