Kenny Elissonde won the second stage of the Paris-Correze two-day race, handing overall victory to Egoitz Garcia.

FDJ-Big Mat rider Elissonde pipped the Cofidis rider to the stage win after 170.2km between Objat and Chaumeil.

The Spaniard had finished with the bunch sprint on Wednesday and thus takes the overall win by nine seconds from Guillaume Bonnafond.

Elissonde had a poor first day, ending 10 minutes off the pace.

Johann Tschopp of Switzerland was third, also nine seconds behind as he came fourth on the day.
