Palace delighted with Carle attitude

Crystal Palace assistant boss Mick Jones has been impressed with Nick Carle's attitude despite being left out of the team recently.

The Australian midfielder has been unable to break into Neil Warnock's starting line-up this season due to the form of Neil Danns, Alassane N'Diaye and Darren Ambrose.

"Neil is the manager and he makes the final decisions, but the bottom line is that Nick has never whinged, never complained," Jones told Palace's official website.

"He is the first to congratulate the players if they get a good result, and he is very unlucky to be out of the team at the moment. But the system we are playing suits the players we have got and he knows that.

"Dannsy has become a better player because of Alassane, who, while he is still naive and a bit raw, opens the gaps up for him and Ambrose.

"So the balance of the team at the moment looks very good and Nick has been a victim of that. But he is still a very good player."

  1. Nick Carle aint in the team cos he's @#$%, cant run, its a myth he can pass, a right waste of a million quid, get Moses in the team and the new boy Smith, hopefully Wannock can find a striker on loan, otherwise we will finish the season where we are now with the lardy Lee up front

  2. What game's is Mick Jones watching. The system we are playing opens up gaps, we have no flare or spark in the midfield, the creative players are on the bench and as for scoring. Never mind we will spend another year scraping for points and trying to stay up
