Tottenham Hotspur manager Juande Ramos will be out of the club before the end of the season, according to eurosport.yahoo.com readers.
Almost two-thirds of the 6,650 who voted believe that Spurs' awful start to the season - rock-bottom of the Premier League with just two points after six matches - will have the Spanish coach searching for new employers by May, with 65 per cent of readers predicting his departure.
Despite spending extensively on several new players in the summer, Tottenham have accrued only half the number of points as Derby County had at the same point last season, and the Rams went on to be relegated with a record-low total of just 11 points.
Some Spurs fans on the Eurosport-Yahoo! Message boards have seen enough of the man who led Sevilla to two UEFA Cups, a Champions League place and close to winning La Liga, and want him out.
StevieParkLane: "Ramos has won two league games in the whole of 2008, if that ain't relegation form I don't know what is, and most of those were with Keane and Berb. Ramos must take the blame, his selections are often stupid, playing players out of position, persevering with that muppet Jenas."
p.harmsworth: "Whilst on paper the squad looks good enough to at least do reasonably well the fact is that they are not playing as a team and that is down to the manager."
However, there are plenty of fans who square the blame firmly with the board, citing the way they handled the sales of Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov to Liverpool and Manchester United respectively, as well as the sacking of Ramos's predecessor Martin Jol as reasons for the club's current plight.
Evil bread man: "Blame Comolli, blame Levy, perhaps blame Poyet. It's certainly not Ramos's fault. We SHOULD have got rid of Berbs earlier. It would've given us a chance to get someone in. Ramos has now had to deal with what he's got."
Andy C: "The way we are going, I'd like the senior non-footballing management eg Commolli axed. Levy can stay on if he is not making football related decisions. I feel sorry for Ramos. Give him this season, and if we don't improve, I'll take Martin Jol back any day."

Here is the real deal. I've supported the Spurs since the late 70's and if I was being truly honest we have never had the amount of talent in any one team as we do today. Sure there was Hoddle and Waddle, Gazza and Ginola and the less not forget Lord Klinsmann! The difference was that the supporting players of not such great talent actually gave a @#$% and played with heart! Could you imagine putting that heart into the talent of the players we have today??? They all need a kick up the backside and told it is a privalige to wear the shirt, not just something they have to do for 90 minutes on a saturday so they can get paid this week! I personally didn't want to see Jol go, but you can't change the past and if I was him I wouldn't want to come back even if it was offered. Fergie was @#$% for the first season at man U and look at what he has achived since, let's try and work through this and not just look for the quick fix option as we always seem to do.
COYS forever!!
im a MAN CITY fan, and personally i dont give a @#$% muahahahahahahahhaha
whatya mean invalid comment, what the @#$% up i made a great point that no-one will see :(
Interesting that all the people that are saying give him more time are not Spurs supporters. If their teams were at the bottom of the league and playing like a blind Morris dancers pub team I wonder what they would be saying then? But I do agree that it is not just that Ramos is about as inspiring as Gordon Brown, the whole management structure is littered with inadaquate ingrates that are only in it for what they can get out of it for themselves. The Heart has gone out of the club and after 40 years supporting them I feel very sad about that. If we are going to have a relegation battle I for one would rather have it with someone that shows some passion and emotion at the helm rather than a manager that probably only knew how to spell Spurs a few days ago once he had mastered the English for "bank balance please"
May?!! That's a little ambitious don't you think?! I think reaching November will be challenging enough for him. If Spuds win in europe tonight I reckon he'll get a stay of execution. Then he can b*lls up the next two premiership games and then get the sack. There's no patience nowadays for managers to get it right, and Tottenham are more than a little guilty of this. I don't think the departure of two major players, one of which was more than a little disruptive on his way out, helped matters in the dressing room. And confidence and morale is low.
He may not get the team to Europe, he may not even get the team in the top half, but Spuds wont go down and they can probably build on that for next season with a gelled team. They should consider this rather than oust yet another manager, who's proved his worth elsewhere, and show the next manager on his six month trial through the revolving doors of the manager's office.
lets see where jol finishes up with Hamburg eh, FFS its only 5/6 weeks into the season
spurs got too much new players, altough they are good, they still doesn't gel.. as of now.
It's so Simple 4-4-2 not lone striker, not 5 man defence.
spurs should have a top first 11, observe:
1 gomes
2 hutton
3 gilberto/bale
5 woodgate
6 king
7 bentley
8 modric
9 pavlyuchenko
10 bent
11 giovani or various others
they should be kicking @#$%, he shouldnt have to think too much about team selection unless there are injuries or suspensions, the team should pick itself its really a no brainer.
I however find it more funnier because of this lolololololol
spurs make me laugh, Martin Jol has had last laugh, he leads Hamburg at top of Bundesliga and where are spurs?
It started to go wrong with the sacking of Martin Jol. He was doing a good job and Spurs were beginning to become a good side under him. Since the appointment of Ramos,
the club has gone backwards. Bring back Martin Jol.
THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE SEASON - Spurs! Shame really.
spurs are @#$%
Why is it that Chelsea had the "Special One" and we end up with the "Miserable One"? He may well be the nicest man in the World but I wouldn't bet on it and he wouldn't be first on my party invite list. Would you want to play in a team managed by Victor Meldrews more downbeat brother? No nor would I so is it any wonder the Spurs players look like they would rather be playing with their Bentley's and WAGS?
Phil (Sfer)
Lets face it, Who cares? It's only Spurs afterall. If they hadn't taken the hush money from United they would have a little more respect.
spurs make me laugh.
