Germany's players will be able to train on the artificial Luzhniki pitch as much as they want ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Russia.

Luzhniki Moscow Stadium Spartak - 0

"We're obliged to provide an away team with one training session on the eve of the match," Vladimir Alyoshin said ahead of the top-of-the-table European Group 4 clash at the 84,000-seat Luzhniki arena.

"We're not bureaucrats. Football rules and fair play should prevail over any restrictions.

"If the Germans tell us they need two days to prepare for the match they will get two days; if they say they want three days they can have three."

Germany lead Russia by a point and will clinch a place in next year's finals in South Africa with a win in Moscow but the visitors are anxious about Luzhniki's synthetic surface.

The October 10 match has attracted huge interest with the Russian FA receiving nearly 200,000 ticket requests from fans all over the country.
