Stephan Muecke and Harold Primat drove their Aston Martin to victory in the second Asian Le Mans series race of the weekend in Okayama.

But Muecke and Primat (pictured) were edged out for the overall weekend's victory by Sora Racing, whose driver combination of Christophe Tinseau and Shinji Nakano won Saturday's race and finished second in Sunday's second race.

Aston Martin Racing team boss George Howard-Chapell was delighted but surprised with his team's performance.

"We were a bit surprised by the pace of our car today compared to yesterday," he admitted.
