Brazil's Augusto Farfus boosted his WTCC title hopes by winning the second race of the weekend at Okayama.
The BMW driver had slid off the track in heavy rain during the opening race before recovering to eighth position, but his win in race two keeps him in with a chance of lifting a first WTCC title
Britain's Andy Priaulx, winner of the first race, stayed with Farfus all the way to the line and finished behind his team-mate to give BMW a second one-two of the day.
Seat's Yvan Muller finished third to boost his own title chances as team-mate and championship leader Gabriele Tarquini finished down in seventh place.
Tarquini was one of several drivers who went wide at the first corner of the race, having been forced to veer off to avoid a collision between Joerg Mueller and Tiago Monteiro.
Tarquini leads the championship by two points from Muller and 13 points from Farfus.

Why not set up a NASCAR or any team with Farfus & Piquet jr as its drivers, Eurosport & Motors TV would have ton's of footage for there crash programs.
If Farfus wins the championship this year it will be a travesty & will only go to show how poor the championship & other team's were this year.
I'm sure the organizers want to put on a good show for the sponsors & keep the title race open till the last race but Farfus should have been penalized after his move on Menu in race 1. Yes it was wet & slippey etc but it just goes to prove Farfus isn't a racer(crash bandit coot comes to mind), he seem to find it easier to push someone out of his way rather than overtake, which he has proved all his WTCC career.
bmw you guys are the best and hopefully the trophy will be going with the BMW team.
What! Farfus is the lest deserving driver out there to win the title, how many times has this bloke cheated this year, how many times has he rammed drivers off the road?, just look at yesterdays race, taking menu off the track to get pole for second race, thats whats called cheat, how many times as this idiot caused major crashes this year...a lot.
Once the bloke grows up and matures, then maybe one day he can call himself a world champion, but intill that day, sorry your going nowhere, and u aint winning this years neither!
Good job,Augusto! You deserve to win the title this year.
