New series for WSBK weekends

A new one-make support series to the World Superbike Championship will make its debut next season, it has been revealed.

The ParkinGO World Series will join the schedule at seven WSBK rounds in 2010 and is expected to slot in amongst the Supersport and Superstock races.

The deal was sealed with a two-year agreement between series organisers Infront Motor Sports and ParkinGO.

The series will take in rounds at Valencia, Assen, Monza, Brno, Donington Park and the Nurburgring.

A further announcement will be made regarding the make and model of the bikes that will be used.
