Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still has confirmed that he has not appointed a permanent penalty taker after Paul Benson`s decision to step down from the duty.
Benson - who has scored nine goals this season - blasted a penalty over against Bradford last month and declared he would never take another one, leaving captain Mark Arber to score from the spot against Macclesfield in the next game.
But Still told Press Association Sport: "I have always had four or five lads working on penalties in training and they are all comfortable with taking them.
"I always say to them that it is down to whoever feels good on the day to take it.
"Sometimes you can have a penalty taker but if he`s having an off-day and is not confident then he is being put in a position which makes him uncomfortable.
"Mark Arber took our last one and smashed it in so I was happy with that but he may not want to take the next one. We`ll see."
