Drogba returns from ban

Didier Drogba is available for Chelsea's Champions League trip to Atletico Madrid after serving a suspension.

The striker was handed a three-match ban for his behaviour in Chelsea's semi-final defeat by Barcelona last season, but he has served his time and will come straight back into the side.

Salomon Kalou is carry a knock and is rated as doubtful, while Carlo Ancelotti also has doubts over Ashley Cole (ankle), Yury Zhirkov (knee), John Mikel Obi (knee) and Jose Bosingwa (knee) ahead of the Group D clash.

If I were to choose for Carlo, I will not include­ Didier in the line up of the Champions League match­ against MADRID, because he is a striker that is prone­ to inquiry, and at this time, we need to let him­ (DIDIER) be very fit against UNITED at the bridge.   6. Agree with yip. every effort to be made to get fist­ team as fit and prepared for the MU clash as much as­ possible. Win on Sunday will be a big boost even if we­ loose or draw to Atletic Madrid.

  7. I would rest him anyway and save him for the utd clash.­ use sturridge. we want a fully fit and ready squad for­ sunday. we do have a 5 day rest but I dont want any­ injury risks.
