Birmingham boss Alex McLeish felt his side deserved to win after they had to settle for a goalless draw at home to Manchester City.
Goalkeeper Shay Given produced a superb display to earn City a point, making a string of fine saves including a second-half penalty stop to deny James McFadden after Nigel De Jong had been penalised for handball.
McLeish said: "We are a little bit disappointed not to get the three points. I thought it was a very powerful performance by the players and they gave everything they had.
"Just the final touch was the only thing that let us down but, other than that, how can I fault any of the performances of these players.
"I liked the performance against Sunderland last week and I've now seen two games in a row of great consistency and quality and they've got to take that forward."

same old same old! the blouses trying to walk it in just like they did all last season! taking nothing away from their defence, but to be fair, i don't think man city can play in the cold can they?
Wolves were not that far away from a draw or even a win against them and it was warm then!
You can't just buy a team! it took chelski at least three or four seasons!
