Mountain High, winner of the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, has been retired to stud.
The son of Danehill, a half-brother to top-class filly Islington, won four of his 13 starts for Sir Michael Stoute, including the French Group One in June.
Owners Coolmore have yet to announce a fee but Mountain High is set to join their National Hunt team at the Beeches Stud.
"Mountain High is a very good-looking horse, with plenty of size and a great walk," said Beeches manager Robert McCarthy.
"He's a Group One winner with a fantastic pedigree so we are extremely confident that he'll prove to be very popular with breeders."
