Alexandre Pato and Andrea Pirlo will miss Milan's Coppa Italia clash with Lazio because of fitness problems.
Brazilian striker Pato (pictured) is being rested after coming off only 29 minutes into his side's 3-1 Serie A defeat at Palermo.
Pato picked up several knocks in the loss and, while they did not result in serious injury, he will not be risked for the last 16 clash.
Italy midfielder Pirlo, meanwhile, is still sore following the weekend's game after recovering from a long spell out injured.
The 29-year-old missed two months of the season with a thigh injury.

They might as well play Pato since he's not injured, after all, better to risk him instead of better players like Inzaghi or Sheva. As for Pirlo, this is BAD news, Pirlo is ageing but he is still a great midfield maestro. Hope Milan can win.
I think Pato is talented, but I also think he's a bit in experience. He kept getting offside. And I am not talking about those caught-up-in-the-moment, a-few-steps offsides. When Pato get called for offside, he's way offside. He should know better.
If Pato does not play, Milan will surely win!
