Stockport boss Jim Gannon has hailed the hunger and determination he is witnessing within his blossoming young squad at Edgeley Park.County have won four of their last six games and Gannon is particularly pleased with new signings Jimmy McNulty, James Smith, Leon McSweeney and Danny Pilkington.

"That's been fantastic business for us," he said. "All those new guys are young, very hungry, and driven.

"I've been excited by these signings for a few weeks now and I'm delighted to have all these lads on board now.

"It's great to have such a talented bunch of players available, we've got every chance this season now."
