Northampton Town boss Stuart Gray has extended the loan of Manchester United goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler until the end of January.The 19-year-old German is yet to feature for the Cobblers first-team since arriving at the end of November, but will now be at Sixfields up to and including the game with Leicester City on January 31.
United now have a 24-hour recall clause in the deal.

what is the point of loaning a big clubs player/keeper if you dont intend to play him during the original loan spell. he could be learning a lot more at old trafford even in the reserves where he will play and with big names who are recovering from injury
