Barnet manager Paul Fairclough conceded he was left feeling "confused" by his side's 1-0 home defeat to promotion-chasing Morecambe.Morecambe's leading scorer Carl Baker had a stinging shot palmed away by Lee Harrison but slack marking by the home defence at the resulting corner allowed Garry Thompson to score at the second attempt.
Fairclough said: "I'm confused and disappointed. It was a case of after the Lord Mayor's show after the win at Hereford.
"I'm going to have to take responsibility because the boys convinced me to keep with the 4-5-1 and it looked quite negative.
"Morecambe deserved to win as it was a very indifferent performance from us.
"There's a term in football called the choke. It comes from tennis years ago as an expression for when people get to the brink of doing something special and then choke on the occasion - and I think we choked."
