Angry Walsall manager Richard Money blasted at the match officials after his side's 17-game unbeaten run ended with a 2-1 defeat at Carlisle. The visitors took the lead through Lee Holmes, but then conceded a 33rd-minute penalty when full-back Paul Boertien was adjudged to have handled Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's speculative 25-yard shot.
Bridge-Wilkinson scored from the spot and substitute Danny Graham fired the Cumbrians' winner.
Money said: "There's no way it was a penalty. If anyone thinks it was hand to ball they are on a different planet.
"The defender was just blocking the shot. The officials had a shocker. Free-kicks, throw-ins, take your pick. They were very poor."
