Burton will travel to Swindon without Aaron Webster and Lee Lucas.
Both players have been ruled out of the trip to Wiltshire after sustaining injuries during the 1-1 home draw against Oxford.
The versatile Webster, on his return from a three-match absence because of a knee problem, suffered a hamstring tear last Sunday and faces around two months on the sidelines.
On-loan midfielder Lucas also has a hamstring problem and has returned to parent club Swansea to receive treatment.
Justin Richards twisted an ankle in training and missed the Oxford game and he remains a doubt.
However, fellow striker Billy Kee, who this week rejected a move to League Two rivals Crawley, and defender Tony James look likely to recover from respective groin and knee injuries to be included in the squad.
