Shots trip postponed

Bristol Rovers' npower League Two game at Aldershot has been called off due to a frozen pitch, despite the best efforts of groundstaff at the EBB Stadium.

Aldershot's head groundsman Andy Nunn told the club's official website: "We have been worried all day really due to the temperatures overnight.

"The covers which we laid earlier in the week did a good job and the majority of the pitch was playable but it wasn't to be and it is the correct decision."

The fixture is yet to be rearranged.
