Louis Carey remains doubtful as Bristol City look to consolidate their position at the top of the table against promotion rivals Charlton. The defender had hoped to return against Hull on Saturday before his troublesome foot injury flared up again, putting his involvement at The Valley into question.
Robins boss Gary Johnson, who is expected to name an unchanged starting XI against the Addicks, said: "Louis is a runner, but he would fall at the last hurdle.
"It is frustrating for him. It is one of those injuries that keeps reoccurring and causing him discomfort after training."
Johnson hinted that Scott Murray could be in line for a recall to the squad, he said: "Scott is one of those lads outside the 16 at the moment who we really want to get involved."
Fellow midfielder Cole Skuse could also return to contention after a groin problem.
