Steven Gillespie has warned his Cheltenham team-mates they need to be more ruthless in front of goal if they are to stay in League One.Town are now five without a victory despite leading 1-0 in three of those games, leaving them perilously perched just a point clear of the relegation zone.
And Gillespie, who has shouldered much of their goalscoring burden this term with 10 goals, believes they need to stop relying on clean sheets to win games.
"We need to get a second goal to put us in the comfort zone because we have not done that enough this season," he told the Gloucestershire Echo.
"When you are 1-0 up, you are always wary of your opponents nicking a goal from set-pieces or anything like that.
"The boys at the back have done well to keep clean sheets and we have won a lot of games 1-0, but we can't always rely on them and we need to score more."
