Mon 03 Mar, 04:45 PM

Stockport boss Jim Gannon is hoping a break in Ireland will help his players gear up for the closely-contested League Two promotion run-in.Country enhanced their play-off credentials at the weekend as their 1-0 victory secured a seventh successive away win.

But Gannon and his players will spend this week in Ireland for a short break as Stockport seek to recharge their batteries ahead of some crucial games.

"We want the lads to go away and chill out," said Gannon.

"They can reflect on what we've done and focus on what's ahead. The result at Hereford maintains our momentum and confidence and I'm looking forward to the big month ahead."
