Gillingham could be without defender Simon King for the trip to Brighton after he was stretchered off against Yeovil with an ankle injury.Striker Simeon Jackson could return to the side in place of either Delroy Facey or Leroy Griffiths after being on the bench against Yeovil at the weekend, when the Gills drew another blank in front of goal.

Gills manager Mark Stimson will be without Nicky Southall who remains sidelined after picking up a hamstring strain a fortnight ago against Northampton.

And fellow midfielder Mark Bentley is also out with an Achilles injury, but it is hoped the former Southend man will be able to return to training this week as the Gills' seek to get back to winning ways after taking just six points from their last eight games.
