Captain Peter Leven insists confidence is high in the Chesterfield camp following back-to-back league victories over Brentford and Rochdale.Leven's late goal gave the Spireites a crucial 1-0 win at play-off rivals Dale, a week after defeating the Bees by the same scoreline at Saltergate.
It was the first time that Chesterfield had won successive league matches in 2008, and Leven is hoping the Spireites can underline their return to form against Lincoln on Friday evening.
"After a run of defeats, we have done well to get back-to-back clean sheets and 1-0 wins. Confidence is high again," Leven told the club's official website.
"The boys are back on track and we will be looking for that to continue against Lincoln. Training is buzzing now and we have competition for places so we all know that we have to raise out game to stay in the team.
"The team spirit is great - two wins has made it even better - and long may that continue."
