Manager Richard Money believes he still needs to add a defender to his Walsall squad but appears to be unlikely to sign another striker.Injuries or suspensions would leave the League One play-off chasers short of defensive cover following the departures of Dan Fox and Scott Dann.

Money would also like to bring a striker to the Banks's Stadium despite signing former Aston Villa and QPR forward Stefan Moore at the end of last week.

"I am not 100% sure if we need a central defender - we will decide that over the next two or three weeks - but we probably do," said Money.

"If an absolutely top-drawer striker suddenly became available for very little money, which is not going to happen, we would do that as well."
