Yeovil manager Russell Slade will take positives from the goalless draw at Gillingham ahead of next Saturday's home game against Cheltenham. The injury-hit Glovers held on for a point at Priestfield despite Stephen Maher's red card and Slade believes they can use that result as a foundation to turn their form around.
He said: "We needed to go back to basics a little bit and I thought we did that by and large.
"There is room for a lot of improvement but we defended a lot better.
"We also need to be more of a threat going forward but at least we go home with something to work from."
