Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate reckons weariness from the FA Cup led to Saturday's home defeat to Reading.Boro lost an unbeaten record stretching back to January 1 with a 1-0 defeat to Reading, just days after seeing off Championship side Sheffield United in extra-time.
He told BBC Tees: "Everything was flat and we looked a little bit tired. Inevitably you go two hours late on Wednesday night and it has a big influence on the game.
"It's tough because we've had a good run and now we're looking over our shoulders again which is disappointing."
