GOG Svendborg drew level with Barcelona at the top of Group 4 in the Champions League after defeating Pick Szege 28-25, yet are still the underdogs to go through to the semi-finals.

The Catalans have won three in a row since losing their opening game at GOG Svendborg TGI Gudme but the Danes could draw level by beating Pick Szeged on Sunday.

Montpellier caused a shock in Group 3 by beating Ciudad Real 28-26 as the 2006 champions lost their unbeaten record.

Defending champions Kiel moved a step closer to the semi-finals with a 32-26 victory at Chehovskie Medvedi.

Nikola Karabatic and Henrik Lundstrom scored six goals apiece as the Germans recorded their third win in four games.

Only the top side in each group reach the last four and Ademar Leon can move level on points with the Bundesliga outfit if they win at US Ivry on Sunday.
