England have confirmed that Paul Sackey's leg injury is not as bad as first feared and he should be available to face France in their next Six Nations game.
The Wasps wing limped out of England's 14-13 defeat to Ireland after apparently injuring his ankle early in the second half at Croke Park.
But X-rays have confirmed Sackey has not suffered any bone damage and that the injury is in his left calf muscle.
Sackey and fly-half Toby Flood, who suffered a minor dead leg, will continue to receive treatment while the squad are given two days off.
Both should be fit to face France at Twickenham on March 15.
After defeats to Wales and Ireland, England must beat Les Bleus if they are to finish in the top half of the championship table.
The starting XV from Saturday's Dublin defeat will reconvene for three days' training in Yorkshire on Wednesday.
The change of training base was pre-planned and designed to freshen things up with two rounds remaining.
The other 17 members of the elite squad have been released to play for their clubs this weekend.

To answer your question: Yes. You come across as merely bitter and twisted, I'm afraid.
I have to love your English optimism, you stink up the pitch with your mediocre displays, consistently cheat and then you say that the only reason you lost was your misfortunate players being unjustly sent off. *Newsflash* you played better without them than with.Am I being unfair here??You only had any chance because O'Gara missed 14 easy points thats why Ireland 'scraped a win' mr. 'We have Won our World Cup'. You wont be getting near it again....ever

#4..I totally agree with ya there mate.
Hey its great to be following what all other nations seem to consider is the worst team of players in the world. However, Consider this: If England are so bad then how come Wales and Ireland could only manage a single score difference between themselves and England who only had 14 of the so called worst players on the pitch for aquater of each of those matches! Doesnt say much for Wales and Ireland does, just about scraping wins. Even Englands worst performance was enough to thrash Italy.
If this is the worst ever team, then I am proud to support them because if they had managed to keep 15 players on the pitch for the whole match they would probably have beaten Wales and Ireland. With that in mind bring on the great French and the Scottish supermen. Lets see if they can beat our 14 worst players as well, as I am sure the referees will give them that advantage.
Glad he's going to be available - hopefully he will be used properly next time. He was spending far too much time trying to win ruck ball when he should have been waiting for a pass and an opportunity to show his pace. Maybe it shows how frustrated he has become at not getting quick ball recently?
good to hear
england's best player
