Crewe first-team coach Steve Holland believes the best is yet to come from on-loan forward Dean Morgan.Morgan is expected to return to the team to face Southend, whom he spent a loan spell with last season, after missing last week's game with parent club Luton.
And Holland expects Morgan to play a key part in the Railwaymen's battle to survive in the League One end-of-season run-in.
He told the club's official website: "Dean has a good presence up there and is always eager to get on the ball and create something. He gets on the ball a lot and works hard for the team.
"I think there is still some improvement to come from him. We just need him to be playing to his strengths more.
"He has been excellent to work with since he came here and to have him with us until the end of the season is good for us and for our chances of staying up."
