Bury boss Alan Knill admits his side could not have hit form at a better time following their recent march to the brink of safety. When Knill took over at Gigg Lane in early February the Shakers were struggling to retain their league status and were deep in relegation trouble.
But former Rotherham boss Knill has engineered an impressive upturn in fortunes which has taken them 12 points clear of the drop zone with five games remaining.
"We are the form team in the division now," said Knill.
"If you are going to hit form, then now is the time.
"Usually you are going for the play-offs or getting out of relegation so I'm absolutely delighted."
